Speech & Debate
As the captain of her school's team, Uma has debated for four years and become the Five-Time Regional Champion in Lincoln-Douglas Debate. She received the distinction of Academic All-American from the National Speech & Debate Association and placed third at the National Coolidge Cup Debate Tournament. Uma has had the privilege of debating for important leaders, including the Florida Commissioner of Education and the President of the Mexican Business Forum.
Since childhood, jewelry has played an important role in Uma's life. She founded Mystic Manasa, an online store through which she sells handmade jewelry created through advanced beading and metalwork techniques. She began the shop to share her passion and give back to the world that has given her knowledge of the craft.
